It’s a new era at Hoppe Hour, and we couldn’t be more excited. My mentor Stroke Mastro gave me a Rodecaster Pro board back in 2020, and it was great! I still have it and will be using it, but I needed to relocate my podcast to a more professional set-up.
I mean, it’s kind of hard to rant about the news when I have my cat running up and down my studio apartment!
But seriously, I want to thank Tommy Chuck for allowing me on the weekend to record Hoppe Hour at the new IHeartMedia Feather Sound studios. I have wanted to go into radio since 2000, so this is a very exciting time in my life!
“Hoppe Hour” is a hybrid mix of celebrity news, discussions about dating and sex, and more! It sounds like a morning show you would hear on a Top 40, Rhythmic CHR, or Throwback Hip-hop radio station.
I was influenced by such shows as The Howard Stern Show, Opie & Anthony, The T-Man In The Morning, Mancow, (and the rest of my influences are on my bio page on the website.) I like to give credit to the people who influenced me because I always want to be honest with my audience.
It’s really easy to listen to the show!
All you have to do is search “Hoppe Radio” on every single podcasting platform! The list includes IHeartRadio, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, TuneIN, Stitcher, Google Play, Amazon Music, and more! So literally, wherever you consume entertainment….search “Hoppe Radio” to listen to “Hoppe Hour.”
For right now, we are only going to record on Saturday, and not at my apartment during the week.
There is only so much time in the day, and I need to focus on “The Pat & Aaron Show” on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620. Although I have big goals (which would you expect since I’m 6’9,) I need to stay focused on my day job!
